Description
Over golden three-mountain, covered with red water wheel, in blue a jumping deer, accompanied of two upright, five-sided golden prisms.
On the blue-golden stuffed helmet with same covers an increasing golden deer. Origin and sense interpretation
Because an entitled acceptance exists, the fact that theVogelsberg family has its origin in the Siegerland (Westphalia),
the Siegen coat of arms was taken as a basis for the presentation (cf. German Lineage Book, volume 164). This was made from a signet, the Muenker families
in Ferndorf sealed with since that 18th century. The origin of the seal is certainly older. On the signet the jumping deer and the mountain are shown. The water wheel refers to the
several times occurring occupation of miller as well as to the hammersmith. With the two five-sided prisms
one refers to the Vogelsberg (Hesse). Its basalt confirmed frequently in the characteristic prismatic form as so-called pillar basalt.Design: Hellmuth Münker, Kaltenkirchen (Germany)
